10 Corso Como

From September 7th to 9th, 10 Corso Como in Lower Manhattan’s Seaport District will host five designers at the forefront of contemporary Italian fashion, as the Milanese concept store celebrates the one-year anniversary of its first U.S. location.

This project is being organized with support from the Italian Trade Commission, which promotes Italian businesses abroad, and the support of the Consulate General of Italy in New York, with the goal of strengthening the image of “Made in Italy” worldwide and facilitating business development opportunities across the entire fashion industry.

The selection of featured designers, which were picked by the international brand ambassador for Camera Nazionale della Moda Italiana Sara Sozzani Maino, is representative of Italy’s increasingly active international fashion talent. Act n°1, Coliac, Nico Giani, Sunnei, and Vivetta are all recipients of prestigious awards and have a committed following worldwide.

Act n°1, Coliac, Nico Giani, Sunnei, and Vivetta are five designers that embody contemporary Italian fashion: their collections are born in Italy but exhibit a wealth of international influence. Made in Italy collections draw from the past, with traditional high-quality craftsmanship, and embrace contemporary trends, with a strong identity on social media.

The initiative’s official partner is Franciacorta, a collaborator of Camera Nazionale della Moda Italiana since 2012, having chosen Italian fashion as the stage on which to share the values of Italian culture and creativity worldwide.
