ALPHA INDUSTRIES AND RANDOLPH DEBUT CO-BRANDED COLLECTION CELEBRATING AMERICAN HERITAGE
American military-rooted brands Randolph and Alpha Industries have partnered to launch the Alpha Industries x Randolph Sapphire Capsule Collection, debuting a co-branded CWU 45/P bomber jacket and Military Aviator sunglasses The collection observes the 75th Anniversary of the United States Air Force.
Alpha Industries and Randolph are American heritage brands that have long served American service members, and both were awarded contracts by the U.S. Department of Defense, in 1959 and 1978 respectively, to produce apparel and eyewear for American service members. Alpha Industries long specialized in N-3B parkas, MA-1 flight jackets, and the iconic M-65 Field Coat made legendary during the Vietnam War. At the same time, Randolph outfitted fighter pilots with HGU-4/P Aviator sunglasses, handcrafted in the U.S to strict guidelines and complex manufacturing specifications.
The Randolph X Alpha Industries CWU 45/P Bomber Jacket comes in a mid-weight and water-resistant outer fabric, lined with custom sapphire digital camo and complete with Randolph x Alpha Industries removable Aviator carrier patch to hold and display the iconic Aviator frames. Additional features are the custom embroidered co-branded patches on the chest and sleeves. Sizes range from S – 3XL.
The Alpha Industries x Randolph Military Aviator frames, available in both Skyforce Nylon polarized and non-polarized technologies, come in polished chrome with an Atlantic blue mirror lens inspired by the sapphire gem honoring the USAF 75-year anniversary. This capsule comes with a military replica case, custom sapphire camo cleaning cloth, and a retro co-branded box. Frames are available in 55MM & 58MM sizes.
Today, both brands remain family owned and operated and continue to produce iconic, classic military silhouettes that are core to their heritage. Alpha Industries also offers silhouettes with modern innovations in style and function such as the MA-1 Bomber, and M-65 Field Jacket. Randolph continues to handcraft jewelry-quality frames during a 200-step process in their Massachusetts factory for everyday wear.
