Alpha IndustriesAmerican heritage outerwear brand Alpha Industries has announced several changes and growth within its domestic sales force. Director of North American Sales, Sean Whorton, has been promoted to Vice President of Domestic Sales. His contributions to the company have resulted in expansion of their wholesale business and, in partnership with East Coast showroom Nutty Rice, include the brand’s entry into luxury retailer Barney’s this season.

As part of his growth strategy for the brand, Whorton has expanded the sales force with recent hire Sarah Ochwat, Domestic Sales Manager. To handle regional sales, Alpha Industries has brought on Midwest sales agency, Industry Sales Inc. and West Coast agency Outset Collective. Additionally, the brand has signed on Forward Edge Marketing to handle military exchanges and tactical accounts.

Previous to joining Alpha Industries as Domestic Sales Manager, Sarah Ochwat worked at Apple as Sales Manager for Beats by Dr. Dre handling the fashion, sport and travel channels with additional experience as International Sales Specialist in the Americas for Beats by Dr. Dre. Ochwat will report to Whorton with a focus on continued growth domestically.

“I look forward to working with Sarah, Industry Sales, Outset Collective and Forward Edge to increase Alpha’s position in the industry,” said Whorton. “We are excited for what we have coming down the pipeline and look forward to showing our retailers and consumers new styles and trends for seasons to come.”

“Alpha Industries is in a moment of high growth and these additions to the company have been pivotal in our continued success,” added Mike Cirker, Alpha Industries’ CEO. “Sean has brought a wealth of knowledge and leadership to the table and with these new partners in place we are confident we will continue to remain successful.”
