ANDREA BENEDINI, FORMERLY AT LUBIAM, LAUNCHES NEW MENSWEAR BUSINESS “JULTOR”

by MR Magazine Staff

After two decades of dedication and growth within the esteemed family business Lubiam, Andrea Benedini stands on the cusp of an exciting new venture. As the former International Export Manager responsible for leading the L.B.M. 1911 and Luigi Bianchi Mantova Sartoria brands, Andrea has consistently demonstrated a profound commitment to excellence in menswear. Today, he embarks on a new chapter with the launch of his own company, Jultor.

The name “Jultor” is deeply personal, derived from the initials of Andrea’s two beloved children, Juliette and Victor. This new enterprise represents a leap into the future, aiming to expertly represent high-quality menswear brands across international markets, with a particular focus on the United States—a market that Andrea knows intimately, having dedicated significant time to building the family business there.

In his new role as Global Export Director, Andrea will oversee all sales, branding, and strategic initiatives for two distinguished companies, to start with: Latorre, specializing in fine tailoring, and Giemme, which boasts remarkable men’s shirt collections, including the elegant lines of Tintoria Mattei and Guglielminotti. It is with great ambition that Andrea plans to blend his extensive experience in international market dynamics with innovative sales and branding strategies through Jultor.

A graduate in law, Andrea initially embarked on his professional journey at Lubiam, where he honed his skills and knowledge in the family business. His pivotal move to New York was a defining moment, allowing him to cultivate robust relationships and establish a thriving American market presence for the Lubiam company. A few years after returning to Italy, the entrepreneurial spirit within him ignited a desire to create something unique—thus Jultor was born. This innovative firm is designed to merge the worlds of sales, marketing, and strategic expansion, carving out a niche in the competitive menswear landscape.

Andrea reflects on this next stage with a forward-looking vision: “With Jultor, I plan to leverage my more than 20 years of experience accumulated at Lubiam to explore multiple markets and present special menswear products proudly designed in Italy, sourced from the finest heritage companies.” His commitment to quality and craftsmanship remains unwavering, and he is eager to connect with clientele who appreciate and seek out these values.

Based in Milan, Andrea will spearhead Jultor’s operations while embarking on extensive travels to promote clients and solidify long-standing relationships with buyers. His robust network built over the years will serve as a strong foundation as he embarks on this journey for his new business. The road ahead promises the excitement of entrepreneurship and the opportunity to share the beauty of Italian craftsmanship with the world.

Jultor is not merely a business but a passion project that embodies Andrea’s family legacy and personal aspirations. As he continues to foster connections and champion exceptional menswear, Andrea is poised to impact the global market significantly. Supporting his first clients, Latorre and Giemme, he is determined to inspire and elevate the menswear narrative, bringing forth collections that resonate with discerning international customers.

Says Karen Alberg, editor-in-chief of MR magazine, “Not only is Andrea Benedini one of the most talented menswear execs in the business, he’s also one of the smartest and nicest. I am delighted to welcome him back and wish him much success with this new venture.”
