ANDREW ROSEN NAMED EXECUTIVE CHAIR OF RAG & BONE

Guess?, Inc., has announced the appointment of Andrew Rosen (above) as executive chair of the Rag & Bone brand. Guess? and global brand management firm WHP Global recently completed the acquisition of New York-based fashion brand Rag & Bone, which operates as an independent brand within the Guess? portfolio. Guess? owns all of the Rag & Bone operating assets, and Guess? and WHP Global jointly own the Rag & Bone intellectual property.

In his role, Rosen will provide strategic direction and oversight of the Rag & Bone executive team, partnering closely with Paul Marciano and Carlos Alberini, as well as Yehuda Shmidman, WHP Global Chairman and CEO. With Andrew’s unparalleled industry knowledge and proven leadership skills, he will play a pivotal role in shaping the future of Rag & Bone.

Rosen follows his father’s and grandfather’s footsteps in the industry with more than four decades of experience driving innovation and growth in both emerging and well-established fashion brands. Following an early career at Calvin Klein, he co-founded Theory in 1997 and oversaw the company’s growth as CEO for over 20 years. Today he remains an active investor and mentor to many leading American fashion brands, some of which include Alice + Olivia, Veronica Beard and TWP, which successfully launched three years ago.

Guess?, Inc. designs, markets, distributes and licenses a lifestyle collection of contemporary apparel, denim, handbags, watches, eyewear, footwear and other related consumer products. Guess? products are distributed through branded Guess? stores as well as better department and specialty stores around the world. As of February 3, 2024, the company directly operated 1,002 retail stores in Europe, the Americas and Asia, and partners and distributors operated 551 additional retail stores worldwide. Its partners and distributors operated in approximately 100 countries worldwide. On April 2, 2024, the company acquired all the operating assets and a 50% interest in the intellectual property assets of Rag & Bone, directly operating stores in the U.S. and in the U.K., and also available in high-end boutiques, department stores and through e-commerce globally.
