APL INTRODUCES NEW RUNNING SHOE
Athletic Propulsion Labs (APL) has launched its newest running silhouette to date.
Dubbed, the “Streamline,” the new sneaker features an all-new midsole and outsole design that is built with the brand’s newest compound, APL FutureFoam. With this design, the Streamline running shoe is able to deliver superior comfort, exceptional cushioning, and most importantly, speed. Developed through a strenuous testing process over the past twenty-four months, the APL FutureFoam midsole compound was engineered to provide exceptional compression, rebound, and energy return. The midsole surface features horizontal channels carved by the wind to make each stride smoothly flow through the air. APL’s design mission was to create a midsole that offered the step-in comfort of a recovery shoe, but the performance and energy generation characteristics of a distance runner. The midsole sits atop a lightweight, two-piece rubber outsole that provides excellent traction along the wearers’ journey.
The upper of the Streamline is lightweight and is constructed with another new innovation – APL AeroLux, which melds a lightweight and breathable woven textile with thin layers of support and vector flow lines to improve airflow around the foot and reduce drag. The integrated lacing structure allows the wearer to customize the fit to keep the shoe as tight or as loose as desired. The Streamline also includes the all-new proprietary APL Soufflé sockliner that offers a final layer of long-lasting, superior cushioning.
As a silhouette designed for road and gym use, the Streamline’s additional special details include a slanted shank plate that encourages forward motion upon foot strike, a lightweight, solid rubber outsole, 3-D molded heel padding, and microfiber collar edges for heightened long-distance comfort.

The Streamline, which retails for $300, is now available online at athleticpropulsionlabs.com, at APL’s flagship store experience at The Grove in Los Angeles, and with select retailers including Nordstrom.
