That’s why Articles of Style (AOS) chose heritage fabrics from Gladson New York for its latest menswear collection. Every piece in the collection has been created in the USA from cloth manufactured at Huddersfield Fine Worsteds, Gladson’s internationally renowned mill in Huddersfield, England.

The AOS ethos revolves around updated versions of classic designs that never go out of style and are built to last. British cloth was the ideal choice for this collection. AOS founder Dan Trepanier pointed out that true English fabrics have been at the forefront of menswear for hundreds of years because they have the drape and durability to take a beating over time.

The Collection

In this collection, AOS takes classic menswear into 2022 and beyond. You will find soft unconstructed jackets, supple outerwear, stretch casual separates, and other “elegant casual” pieces designed for day-to-day style in today’s more fluid world. You will not find big shoulder pads, stiff canvases, banker collars, power ties, scratchy wool, or other “old school” elements that are often – and unfairly – associated with traditional English menswear.

The collection is designed for men in their late twenties to early fifties who want to balance comfort and style. It features pieces that are as soft and comfortable as your pandemic uniform, but with the character and charm of a proper tailored garment.

The collection is AOS first Made to Order collection, meaning that customers can select the size (S-XL) and then the garment will be made, and delivered within 6-8 weeks.
