BAJA EAST RELEASES TIE-DYE PRIDE CAPSULE

by Stephen Garner

Baja East has launched a new four-piece tie-dye capsule collection in celebration of Pride Month.

The Pride collection, hand-dyed by the brand’s founder and creative director Scott Studenberg, consists of four limited run tie-dyed styles on repurposed celebrity favorite items from Baja East’s spring 2020 collection, including its “Baja Burger” sweat-set and tees and the “100% That Baja Bitch” hoodie.

For this collection, the company has selected to support Born This Way Foundation, the nonprofit organization committed to supporting the wellness of young people and empowering them to create a kinder and braver world. Baja East’s 2020 Pride capsule will be sold in limited quantities exclusively on bajaeast.com with a portion of proceeds being donated to Born This Way Foundation.

The collection offers two unique color ways—Sour Candy, a swirled dye design in symbolic Pride rainbow colors, and Tsunami, a deep purple motif on white, as seen on Lady Gaga last week.

The two hoodies sell for $250, sweats for $225 and tee for $150. Each item in the capsule is hand-made and one-of-a-kind.
