BALLY DEBUTS LATEST EYEWEAR COLLECTION

by Stephen Garner

Bally has unveiled its autumn/winter 2019 eyewear collection, the second in partnership with Marcolin Group.

The collection features both sunglass and optical offerings for men and women inspired by the brand’s mountain heritage. The new season eyewear revives shapes and colors reminiscent of the 1970s including oversized pilot and navigator styles. Classic shapes including slim metal profiles create a sporty yet sophisticated look.

Brand signatures are present across the range including the Bally Grip, inspired by the Sparta Grip first used by the brand in the 1920s on hiking boot soles, which embellish the front, temple and nose pads of frames. Further subtle branding includes the Bally B hinge that draws inspiration from the iconic turn-lock element – a modern interpretation of the twist-lock used to secure the cars together on traditional Swiss trains.

The collection is now available at Bally’s retail stores worldwide, Bally.com and Marcolin’s distribution channels for Asia.
