BIRKENSTOCK AND MATCHESFASHION CELEBRATE NEWEST 1774 DESIGNER COLLECTION

Birkenstock and MatchesFashion celebrated the launch of the first 1774 designer collection with stylist Leslie Fremar at Frieze Los Angeles on Thursday night. Hollywood stars Charlize Theron, Chloe Grace Moretz, and Rashida Jones were among the many guests.

As official partners of the art fair, the collection will be available as the exclusive first drop at MatchesFashion from February 13th-16th and online at matchesfashion.com before releasing globally March 1st.

A new, season-less unisex collection takes some of the most recognizable Birkenstock styles and elevates them with state-of-the-art manufacturing techniques. The collection consists of brand-defining styles which include the Arizona, Milano, Madrid, and the Siena sandal.

To commemorate the launch, Birkenstock partnered with artist Amalia Ulman who transformed her work “Dignity” into a photography experience and installation on the Paramount Studios backlot within the art fair.
