by Brian Lipton

Bond No. 9, the fragrance company known for its bright packaging and unusual scents, will open its second Miami store on June 1.

The new shop will be located in the city’s design district at 112 NE 41st Street in architect Enrique Norten’s brand new, seven-story neo-Modernist building. The 1,000-square-foot boutique will be a near-replica of the company’s flagship in New York City’s NoHo district, including identical crystal chandeliers gracing the 18-foot ceiling, smoky mirrors, signature lacquer-red leather chairs and velvety sand-colored carpeting.

As with all of the company’s stores, a highly-trained and hand-picked staff (all of whom will be bilingual) will be on hand to help customer curates the perfect fragrance wardrobe. The company currently offers 72 eaux de parfum and offer custom blends, many of which are made strictly for men or are unisex, along with personalized perfume bottles, a bevy of candles and other products.

Last fall, the company opened a satellite store at Miami’s Aventura Mall. In addition to retailing at its own boutiques, Bond No. 9 products are available at Saks Fifth Avenue, Harrod’s and other stores.
