‘Bow Tie Building’ Retail Deals Could Dress Up Times Square

Two big, new retail deals have been signed at 1530 Broadway, a.k.a. the “Bow Tie Building” — and they have wider implications for Times Square. Landlord Charles Moss has filed plans with the Department of Buildings for a new, 14,000 square-foot Walgreens store on the east side of Broadway between West 44th and 45th streets. The Bow Tie Building had a lot of space to fill after Toys ’R’ Us collapsed and restaurant Bond 45 left a few years ago. The leases for Walgreens and a multimedia production company complete the task — but there’s more to it. Read more at New York Post.
