Bread & Butter is Back in Berlin for Spring 2015
The Bread & Butter trade show is headed back to Berlin for spring 2015 after canceling its January show and filing for bankruptcy. The show is scheduled to take place from July 2 to July 4, 2015 at Airport Tempelhof.
Karl-Heinz Müller, managing director of Bread & Butter said in a statement: “Despite all turbulences, we encountered a wave of sympathy.” With his team, he plans to “rework the concept for July 2015, for the industry’s challenges can surely not be solved with conventional trade shows alone. Our new concept fits to Berlin. With its size and structure, Airport Tempelhof offers ideal conditions for the trade show. The extensive free areas provide nearly unlimited space for everything one can imagine.”
Bread & Butter had planned on shifting the January show to Barcelona, but after a negative response from the industry, it was moved again back to Berlin’s Templehof airport. After the show revealed that it was forced to scale back from five exhibition halls to one, Müller canceled the January show altogether.
