C.P. COMPANY X KIKO KOSTADINOV COLLABORATE ON SPRING CAPSULE

by John Russel Jones

Italian sportswear brand C.P. Company and designer Kiko Kostadinov (also the creative director of Mackintosh) return to collaborate on a groundbreaking capsule collection that reflects each brand’s pioneering approach.

This new capsule, which offers a modular jacket, cargo trousers, and a hoodie, is defined by loose shapes and functional elements. Made from Flatt Nylon, an emerized (finishing fabric with a crushed mineral substance to create a raised, even nap while providing luster) opaque nylon mixed with Mais (two-toned) gabardine, the jacket’s central fastening button allows the front insert to be removed and transformed into a zipped bag. Two buttons on the sleeve at the front allow the jacket to be worn in a second way, with a hidden zip and Velcro straps.

The capsule also includes regular cargo trousers with a zip closure, double-button waistband, side pockets, and panel construction. A hooded sweatshirt is made from cotton blended with Flatt Nylon in a unique and versatile silhouette. The Green Flash colorway perfectly matches the contrast stitching, a signature Kiko Kostadinov detail.

The collaboration will be available on cpcompany.com and in its flagship stores in Milan and London from March 12th, 2024.
