CASIO G-SHOCK AND FUTURA PARTNER ON LIMITED EDITION WATCH
Watchmaker Casio G-Shock and graffiti artist Futura have collaborated on the GDX6900FTR-1 timepiece. This limited-edition watch comes designed with Futura’s signature Add Atoms pattern. It retails for $180.
The watch, which comes in a case size of 53.9mm, features world time, a 1/100th second stopwatch, a 1/10th second countdown, and five daily alarms, among other features. It is shock-resistant and water-resistant up to 200 meters.
Futura gained fame in the early 1970s painting illegally on New York’s subways and working with artists including ALI. Today his work has evolved into the production of highly collectible toys and collaborations with brands from The Clash to Converse.
