Centric Brands, the owner of Hudson, Robert Graham, and Swims, has name Laura Ritchey as its new chief operating officer, reporting to the company’s chief executive officer Jason Rabin.

As a member of the executive leadership team, Ritchey will be responsible for developing the global operating platform and have direct oversight for strategic sourcing, warehousing, logistics, and information technology.

Ritchey has more than 20 years of experience leading retail, manufacturing, distribution, and business operations. While at L Brands, where she served in senior leadership and executive operations roles, Ritchey led strategic initiatives that resulted in business processes enhancements from product concept to store, and improvements in end-to-end supply chain management. Most recently, she worked at FullBeauty Brands as chief operating officer where she oversaw all retail operations.

Ritchey began her career in accounting at Arthur Andersen where she worked for seven years before joining Cardinal Health in positions of increasing responsibility in the tax and treasury departments.

“Laura has successfully led all aspects of operations including business transformation, strategy, and day to day execution and will be an important addition to our leadership team,” said Rabin. “As we look to drive greater efficiency in operations and develop faster and more agile business processes, Laura’s experience will support our improved operating performance and future growth.”

“I am delighted to be joining the Centric Brands team at such an exciting time in their transformation and look forward to working with Jason and the leadership team,” added Ritchey. “I will be focused on enhancing our end-to-end supply chain and operating infrastructure to improve product quality and speed to market and optimize costs enabling the business to expand and grow.”
