Industry veteran David Schuster has announced that he has added Chervo USA, a luxury lifestyle collection, to his roster of Drest Agency brands. Chervo is a prestigious 40-year-old men’s and women’s apparel and accessories brand with 36 distributors around the globe. The U.S. is a relatively new market for the company and is already their fastest growing, according to Layne Dempsey, managing partner of Chervo USA, who also notes that the brand is targeted to upscale specialty merchants and will not be sold in department stores. She points out that the company is still family-run with an emphasis on quality, style and customer service that meshes perfectly with key values embraced by U.S. specialty retailers.

Made in Italy, the fall ’22 collection is upscale and fashion-forward. Suggested retails on ski and apres-ski bottoms range from $200 to $225, outerwear averages $500.

Schuster explains that new marketing initiatives will be rolled out with better specialty stores for fall ’22 and that retailers will have the option of displaying product in a shop-in-shop concept. “The success of our first pop-up shop in Roslyn NY this summer has me very excited to work with specialty store owners on Chervo in-store shops,” he concludes.
