CONCEPTS LAUNCHES MOBILE APP

Boston-based sneaker and streetwear retailer Concepts has launched a mobile app. The launch of the app is the next phase of Concepts’ global growth and follows the recent openings of a flagship store in Boston and a new store location in New York City in 2020.

The retailer’s newest development brings in-app commerce, brand content, and sneaker drawings to consumers in an experiential and solution-oriented way. Developed to supplement and amplify the Concepts e-commerce and brick-and-mortar locations, the Concepts Mobile App brings the brand and multi-brand retailer’s products and storytelling to more people than ever before.

“Our customers live on their phones and so in creating the Concepts Mobile App we strived to create the best possible brand touchpoint straight to their fingertips,” said Tarek Hassan, founder and CEO of Concepts. “Experience is a key strategy for Concepts, with storytelling, service, and convenience being critical parts. Our goal is to provide a seamless 360-degree experience from our brick and mortar stores to our website and to an app.”

The Concepts mobile app offers the retailer’s catalog of men’s and women’s apparel and footwear across its private label brand, Nike, Adidas, New Balance, Converse, and Vans, amongst others.

Through the mobile storefront, consumers can sign up for push notifications for the latest information on product releases, which helps those eager to enter drawings. The app also features a convenient point-of-sale system and allows consumer information including billing, shipping, and sizing can be saved in-app to expedite the checkout process.

Consumers can also build a fully customizable in-app feed based on their favorite brands and products to have a personalized shopping experience. In addition, the Concepts Mobile app will feature app-exclusive products and early access to launches.

The Concepts Mobile app is available for iOS and Android in the United States at the App Store and Google Play.
