DEVEREUX TO ADD SWIMWEAR FOR HOLIDAY
Resort lifestyle brand Devereux is expanding its offerings with the launch of the brand’s first swim collection, available to consumers in November 2017. The 15-piece swimwear collection will compliment Devereux’s line of polo shirts, shorts, sweaters, pants and t-shirts, all engineered for the active guy.
For his first swimwear collection, designer Robert Brunner focused on two distinct styles that men wear most, the Amalfi Swim Trunk and the Bond Board Short. The Amalfi Swim Trunk features an elastic waistband, side pockets, a full lining and made of quick dry fabric. Amalfi is offered in solid colors such as Deep Sea Green, Venice Purple and Tidal Blue as well as Kona and Geometric Ripple prints.
For the more style conscious guy, the Bond Board Short checks all the boxes incorporating a snap button front, side pockets and also utilizes quick dry fabric. Prints are abundant in this style with the Agave Saguaro cactus print the hero of the group representing Devereux’s desert headquarters in Scottsdale, Arizona.
Along with prints, Devereux’s preppy side comes out with a mix of vertical stripes in Tidal, Navy, Sea Green and Lifeguard Red. Both of the styles have a 7.5” inseam hitting just above the knee and will come in sizes 28-40, and will retail between $115 and $135.
“I was determined to make a proper swimwear collection that was about fit, performance and quality. I spent the last couple of years developing swimwear in Portugal because I want to give our customer the craftsmanship and quality of a fine European garment,” said Brunner. “We created an elegant swim trunk that is a great combination of solids, stripes and prints that I think our guy will be able to relate to and is something that is missing from the current men’s swim landscape.”
Devereux will begin selling the swimwear collection to wholesale accounts starting this month at trade shows across the country including the 2017 PGA Fashion & Demo Experience and Project in Las Vegas August 14 – 16.
