DSW Promotes Four Executives
Footwear retailer DSW announced several promotions that will go into effect next week. Carrie McDermott will be chief operating officer; Bill Jordan will be chief administrative officer; Roger Rawlins will be chief innovation officer and Harris Mustafa will be chief supply chain officer.
“These changes are being made to strengthen the company’s organization, establish a single pyramid in charge of all customer touch points, increase bench strength, and balance workload in those parts of the organization that are undergoing significant change,” said CEO Mike MacDonald in a statement. “We remain committed to delivering a differentiated customer experience and we believe these changes will help ensure that goal.”
McDermott, the new COO, has been with the company for eight years, most recently as EVP of sales and operations. She will oversee the stores, DSW.com, the Shoephoria call center and all marketing for the company.
Jordan was previously EVP and general counsel for DSW. He’s been with the company for nine years.
Rawlins, also a nine-year veteran of the company, was previously EVP, omni-channel. As chief innovation officer, he will add strategic planning, innovation and project implementation to his responsibilities.
Mustafa has been with the company for eight years, most recently as EVP of supply chain.
