Equinox, SoulCycle Members Flee As Parent Company Owner Stephen Ross Prepares To Host Trump Fund-Raiser

Celebrities and other members are fleeing the Equinox and SoulCycle fitness chains because the parent company’s owner, wealthy developer Stephen Ross, is hosting a big-ticket Trump fund-raiser this week. A Change.org petition urging people to leave the clubs had garnered more than 1,200 signatures by Wednesday evening. The petition was started by actor and LGBTQ advocate Wilson Cruz-Echevarria, known for starring turns on “My So Called Life” in the 1990s and currently in “Star Trek: Discovery” on CBS. People angered by Ross’s support of Trump reflected the betrayal and hypocrisy that appeared to be at play. Read more at NY Daily News.
