To celebrate the new Ermenegildo Zegna global store in New York City, CEO Ermenegildo Zegna and artistic director Alessandro Sartori welcomed guests on Wednesday to an intimate evening to experience its latest destination designed by architect and longtime collaborator Peter Marino.

Guests included Alec Baldwin, Peter Marino, Thom Browne, Stan Smith, Eric Rutherford, as well as other New York notables, socialites and influencers.

Upon arriving at the store, guests were greeted by the boutique’s new façade composed of metallic strings echoing the yarns of Zegna’s craftsmanship, which overlay two stories of glass. Inside, the crowd mingled across the three floors of luxury retail space showcasing the brand’s modern mix of defining elements. The store was transformed to recreate the environment and mood of the Oasi Zegna, a nature park located near Trivero where Zegna was founded in 1910, including a custom table installation and bonsais scattered throughout creating a stunning alpine feel.

Guests were treated to a special presentation by chef Mario Carbone, who also crafted the custom menu inspired by Oasi Zegna–the theme of the evening–, specialty cocktails and Ferrari Spumante. Leigh Lezark of The Misshapes entertained with a DJ set on the third floor while the crowd had the opportunity to explore the store, including the personalization room, complete with a vintage Italian bar, and Taccuino capsule, exclusively available in New York. The limited collection is inspired by the very notebook Ermenegildo Zegna carried with him on his founding trip to New York in 1938. The motif of his calligraphy is finely reflected as the core pattern for this capsule.

The Ermenegildo Zegna global store is located at 4 West 57th Street in the Crown Building and is now open seven days a week.
