FOURLAPS GIVES BACK FOR MENTAL HEALTH AWARENESS MONTH

by Stephen Garner

Fourlaps has teamed up with the National Alliance on Mental Illness of New York City (NAMI-NYC) for Mental Health Awareness month.

For the month of May, the men’s athletic apparel brand will be donating 20 percent of proceeds from its best-selling “Bolt Short” to support NAMI-NYC, a nonprofit organization that helps families and individuals affected by mental illness build better lives through education, support, and advocacy. Further, Fourlaps will be donating 100 percent of proceeds from sales of the Bolt Short next Tuesday, May 5th, for Giving Tuesday.

“Now more than ever, our NYC community needs access to help,” said Daniel Shapiro, founder and CEO of Fourlaps. “It’s a powerful force when we come together to support one another and bringing awareness to mental health has always been a cause that’s very personal to me. As a team, we are thrilled to be supporting NAMI-NYC and we deeply admire their unwavering mission to make resources accessible for everyone with general and COVID-related mental health concerns.”

The Bolt is a best-selling short for Fourlaps and a perfect hybrid between running and training wear. For spring, Fourlaps expanded the line and introduced new colors including a bright white, royal blue, and camo print. The Bolt is now offered in seven colorways and retails for $68 on fourlaps.com.
