Diesel has announced that its creative director, Glenn Martens, will present his debut collection for the Italian denim brand on June 21st as part of Milan Fashion Week. This occasion marks the very first time the Diesel label has appeared on the Milan Fashion Week calendar.
While the show will be held during Milan’s menswear programming, the collection itself—spring/summer 2022—will feature an all-gender wardrobe and will reflect Martens’ design vision applied across Diesel’s entire range of product categories.
The show is a major step of Martens’ role in overseeing the brand’s creative identity, design, and communications. Prior to his appointment as creative director, Martens created a denim-focused capsule collection for the Diesel Red Tag Project in 2018.
