GOODLIFE CLOTHING TO OPEN BLEECKER STREET STORE
Men’s essentials clothing brand Goodlife Clothing has announced it will open a new store in New York later this year.
Slated to open on November 1st, the approximately 500 square foot shop located at 400 Bleecker Street will house the brand’s offering of premium t-shirts as well as a broad selection of its evergreen core product like its signature basic tees and terry items.
Seasonal merchandise, such as Goodlife’s holiday sweater program, will also be on display for customers to try on but will be shipped directly to them from the brand’s warehouse. This strategy is part of Goodlife’s focus on fast-turning core product, with the goal of limiting inventory liability on its seasonal product.
The shop will also have a small presentation of its new women’s product, which is expected to launch officially on November 4th. Seasonal collaborations with SeaVees and Erik Skoldberg will launch in December.
“We’ve strategically waited to open a brick-and-mortar store until our wholesale channel and online businesses were both at a point where they could fund our further expansion into retail,” Chris Molnar, founder and co-CEO of Goodlife Clothing, told MR. “This will be the first location of many based on our category killing, year-round knitwear that will be the featured product in-store. Seasonal merchandise that is featured on our website and our in-home mailer will be available to try on in-store and then shipped for free. We will also feature seasonal collaborations in-store including upcoming partnerships with SeaVees, Bamford London, artist Erik Skoldberg, and photographer Ben Watts.”
