California-based footwear brand Skechers has teamed up with 2016 Grammy Award-winning singer-songwriter Meghan Trainor for a new multi-platform marketing campaign to launch the Skechers Originals retro sneaker collection. Trainor’s partnership with the brand will continue through 2017
A TV commercial for the men’s and women’s line of sneakers will hit the airwaves next week and features the lead single “NO” from her highly-anticipated sophomore album , Thank You, which will be available worldwide on May 13, 2016. An extended version of the commercial will also debut on YouTube to reveal a more in-depth story. The overall campaign also includes print ads, online and in-store images. “I can’t wait to travel the world and see my face in Skechers stores – it still blows my mind! It’s an honor and dream to work with a big brand like Skechers,” said Trainor, who received the Grammy for Best New Artist and is best known for her hit single “All About That Bass”
