As Gucci’s exclusive U.S. wholesale partner for its celebratory “Gucci 100” anniversary collection, Saks Fifth Avenue is rolling out the red-carpet treatment for the Italian luxury brand.
From now until October 13th, the collection is featured in the retailer’s center six windows along Fifth Avenue in NYC. The windows complement Gucci 100’s dedicated pop-ups throughout the U.S. and showcase the collection in an immersive, multi-dimensional environment, defined by the juxtaposition of classic architectural details and visionary features like perimetral arches, LED lights, and reflective floors.
These design elements are repeated throughout the Gucci 100 installations inside of Saks’ NYC flagship, located on the main floor atrium, women’s designer on the third floor, and men’s designer on the seventh floor.
As the name suggests, the limited Gucci 100 capsule collection was made in honor of the fashion house’s centennial year. The collection, which is inclusive of men’s and women’s ready-to-wear and accessories, takes its cue from music and pop culture with lyrics from songs that mention Gucci featured throughout the assortment.
