Watch maker Hublot celebrated the opening of its second Las Vegas boutique – at The Shops at Crystals – on Monday. The event began with a ribbon cutting ceremony, hosted by Hublot of America Managing Director Jean-François Sberro, and was followed by a cocktail reception and special appearance by brand ambassador, professional boxer Gennady “GGG” Golovkin. The boutique was adorned with Kazakh and Mexican décor, along with Golovkin’s gloves, robe, and champion belts.

The new Hublot boutique showcases a modern, luxurious design with private lounge seating throughout and a full bar in the back of the store to be enjoyed by customers. The Crystals store will also house the limited-edition All Black and black diamond Big Bang Las Vegas special edition pieces which were launched last month.

Also on display was the just-launched limited-edition Classic Fusion 45mm Chronograph “Gennady Golovkin,” which was created in honor of the boxer, The watch, which was created in a limited run of 100 pieces, is housed in a polished black ceramic 45mm case and contains a self-winding movement with a power reserve of 42 hours. Yellow gold sub-dials, hands, and screws pop against the black background, with Golovkin’s initials standing proudly at 12 o’clock and his logo – two gloves banging together – positioned at 3 o’clock.  The straps are black alligator stitched to black rubber – an Hublot signature – and feature yellow and blue stitching symbolic of both the boxer’s native Kazakhstan and the colors he uses in his uniform.

Ricardo Guadalupe, CEO of Hublot, shared: “We are back in Las Vegas to celebrate the opening of our second boutique, and we are proud to have GGG, a remarkable champion, wear the brand, and we are thrilled to have him by our side today while we officially open our new space in Crystals.”
