ITALIAN FABRIC MILL LANIFICIO LUIGI RICCERI TO HOST VIDEO EXHIBITION DURING PITTI UOMO
Prato, Italy-based fabric mill Lanificio Luigi Ricceri will present the “Fabric is art” exhibition at the Galleria dell’Accademia of Florence on Tuesday, January 9 during Pitti Uomo.
The video exhibition will feature projections of ten exclusive fabrics produced by the mill on the iconic statue of David by Renaissance artist Michelangelo.
Curated by Felice Limosani, this unique event is aimed to appreciate Michelangelo’s masterpiece while celebrating the meeting point between Italian intellect and the ideal of perfection and beauty.
First opened in the 1920s, Lanificio Luigi Ricceri specializes in fabric production for plain and fancy outerwear, suits, and sportcoats built on Italian sartorial excellence.
