Stantt has announced the appointment of John Minahan to the role of chief operating officer. Minahan will report to Kirk Keel, co-founder and co-CEO of Stantt, effective November 1.

Minahan’s career spans over 30 years, from his early days as a neckwear designer at Wembley Industries to his more recent experience as the former president of the Gitman Company. He has been a key consultant to Stantt over the past two years, helping the brand build its relationships with mills and retailers.

“John has the unique ability to work both sides of his brain; his creativity and design sensibility are well-regarded throughout the marketplace, while his business acumen and focus on profitability have been a driving force within our company,” said Keel.

“We’re thrilled to have someone with John’s experience help us continue to challenge the sizing standard in the industry and create a better option for customers and our retail partners,” commented Matt Hornbuckle, co-founder and co-CEO of Stantt.

“I am so honored and excited like a kid again to accept my new position at Stantt,” added Minahan. “I am able to be a part of a dynamic and young company that brings a completely new technological approach to my passion and life’s work.”

Founded in 2015, Stantt is a NYC-based menswear company grounded in its proprietary DataFit Technology and 99-size system. The brand is carried in over 200 retailers across the U.S. and Canada.
