JUSTIN O’SHEA EXITS BRIONI
After just six short months, Italian luxury menswear brand Brioni has announced the departure of creative director Justin O’Shea.
O’Shea was officially appointed creative director back in April, and was responsible for the brand’s collections as well as its image. Having no design training, O’Shea joined the brand from the online retailer mytheresa.com where he held the position of fashion director.
In a statement, Gianluca Flore, CEO of Brioni, thanked O’Shea for his collaboration with the brand during this period.
“The strategy of revitalization of Brioni that started at the beginning of this year is set to continue being implemented through a long-term plan aimed to further establish the brand as a leader in the luxury menswear category,” added Flore.
Brioni has also announced that its upcoming autumn/winter 2017 collection will only be presented to buyers at the brand’s Milan showroom in mid-November.
