K-SWISS PICKLEBALL EVENT FEATURES MATT “PICKLEBALL MCNASTY” MANASSE
Just like the rest of the country, iconic American heritage tennis brand K-Swiss has gotten into pickleball. The brand celebrated the court sport with a mid-day frolic for fashion editors and influencers at the Court 16 tennis school in Manhattan’s Financial District last week. Hollywood pickleball sensation Matt Manasse was there to introduce and coach everyone who wasn’t already familiar with the sport.
K-Swiss partnered with Manasse, a pickleball coach to Hollywood celebrities, last August. The former collegiate tennis player at USC and Purdue was a collegiate tennis coach for six years with stints at Wisconsin, Oklahoma State and Duke. In 2020, he switched sports and quickly climbed the pickleball pro ranks, moving to Los Angeles where he started the pickleball program at the Riviera Country Club. There, he quickly garnered clients such as Emma Watson, Matthew McConaughey, Jamie Foxx, and David Dobrik. Manasse was also the coach for the CBS special “Pickled” featuring Will Farrell, Kelly Rowland, Dierks Bentley and more.
