Karalynn Sprouse Joins MAGIC
NEW YORK – Karalynn Sprouse has joined MAGIC International as group sales director with responsibility for national and international sales.
She reports to Christopher McCabe, vice president and general manager of MAGIC, and succeeds Sandra Hayakawa, who has left the trade show production firm.
Sprouse was most recently vice president of advertising at the Los Angeles Newspaper Group.
“With her significant experience in sales and passion for the fashion industry, we know Karalynn will fuel the MAGIC Marketplace’s growth and its reputation as one of the world’s most important resources to the fashion industry.”
Among her objectives in her new post is increasing market share, building new revenue streams through strategic partnerships and creating training programs that support a first-class sales organization.
MAGIC International, a subsidiary of Advanstar Communications based in Woodland Hills, Calif., produces the MAGIC Marketplace twice a year in Las Vegas. Among its trade shows are MAGIC, WWDMAGIC, MAGIC Kids, Sourcing at MAGIC, Project and Pool.
