LEVI’S SKATEBOARDING UNVEILS FRESH AND FUNCTIONAL FITS

by John Russel Jones

Echoing the culture and sensibilities of skateboarders, Levi’s Skateboarding collections seamlessly blend classic Levi’s styling with superior construction and durability. This Spring/Summer season, the collection features the work of LA-based artist Roemello Ugale, known for his mesmerizing screen-printing technique.

The collection features a wide range of bottoms, including many that lean into the Levi’s brand’s revamped loose styles. The Skate Crop Carpenter, covered with eye-catching screen prints from Roemello, offers a statement pair of pants with a bold yet utilitarian look. The collection’s relaxed offerings include the new Skate Baggy 5 Pocket, the Skate Super Baggy, and the Skate Loose Chino, each offered in multiple washes. Additionally, the new Skate “Seeing Double” Super Baggy features a light rinse bordered by a darker rinse below the knee and above the thigh. The Skateboarding 501 jeans are made with abrasion-resistant CORDURA for durability and a timeless fit. The Skate Quick Release Pant and Skate Overall are both practical and versatile. Finally, for a more relaxed style for warmer weather, the Skate Baggy 5 Pocket Short comes in both a light and dark rinse, while the Skate Drop-In Short comes in jade green.

The collection features fresh jackets, fleeces, quarter zips, tees, and a vest for tops. The roomy and resilient Skate Garage Jacket is emblazoned with Roemello’s eye-catching screen prints to match the Skate Crop Carpenter. The jacket also comes in a clean, dark denim rinse. The Skate Quarter Zip, offered in silver fox, jade green, and peppercorn, features a new batwing logo on the front and chenille patches on the back. A new addition to Levi’s Skateboarding, the Skate Canvas Vest, featured in the color peppercorn, can be worn in various styles. The Skate Button-Up Fleece is a versatile button-up with custard and anthracite. Lastly, the crisp Skate Graphic Box Tee also features captivating prints from Roemello in addition to various colors and patterns. The collection is topped off with the Skate Cap, offered in both black and pale blue.
