This isn’t just Virgil Abloh and co. putting the iconic red, white, and blue silhouette of Lakers great Jerry West on a bag or a tee and calling it a day (though they did play around with that idea, to great effect, by pairing the NBA logo with LV’s own iconic monogram as well as elevated references like embroidery that mirrors the lines you’ll find on a basketball).
