Mack Weldon has hired Talia Handler as its first-ever chief marketing officer.

Handler joins the men’s brand after holding leadership positions at agencies such as Ogilvy, Huge, and Saatchi & Saatchi. Most recently, she has served as a brand and strategy consultant for a variety of start-up and Fortune 500 brands in the technology and retail space.

In her new role, Handler will oversee Mack Weldon’s integrated marketing, creative, and communications teams. Specifically, she will lead the brand’s effort to execute holistic go-to-market strategies that double down on Mack Weldon’s product innovation leadership while also broadening the conversation to encourage deeper brand engagement and cross-category product adoption.

“Right now, we’re building for the next phase of growth at Mack Weldon,” said Brian Berger, founder and CEO of Mack Weldon. “Central to our plan is an investment in the Mack Weldon brand that both enhances our current marketing efforts and creates new opportunities for customer engagement. The battle for mindshare no longer lives solely at the bottom of the marketing funnel; to be successful in today’s competitive environment, brands need a full-funnel strategy. Talia’s experience with some of the world’s leading brands at key growth milestones makes her uniquely qualified to build Mack Weldon into a global menswear leader.”

“What excites me most about joining Mack Weldon is where we stand in the brand cycle—great growth, loyal customers, amazing product, and a hyper-engaged community,” added Handler. “There is a massive opportunity to continue scaling the Mack Weldon business as we bring our new brand strategy to life. Mack Weldon products speak for themselves, but the brand’s value proposition goes far beyond that to include convenience, confidence, and utility. By highlighting these key themes and unifying our communications approach, we will expand our customer base and drive new opportunities for growth.”
