Maison Kitsuné Opens NYC Shop in Lower East Side

Parisian fashion brand/music label Maison Kitsuné has opened its second shop in New York. The new 700 sq. ft. store is on Rivington Street at the Bowery in the Lower East Side.

“The Lower East Side is the ideal neighborhood to unveil our second boutique,” co-founder Gildas Loaëc said in a post announcing the opening on the brand’s website. “There’s an independent vibe and a natural convergence of music and fashion here that perfectly reflects the spirit of Maison Kitsuné.”

Maison Kitsuné’s first New York store opened in the NoMad Hotel at West 28th Street and Broadway in 2012.The brand was founded in 2002 by Loaëc and Masaya Kuroki and operates three stores in Paris and one in Tokyo.
