MDFA Sets Luncheon Honorees
NEW YORK – Men’s Wearhouse chief executive George Zimmer, Macy’s West GMM Paul Fitzpatrick and the father/daughter team of Bud and Barbara Blank will be the honorees at the Men’s Dress Furnishings Association’s 30th annual Achievement Awards Luncheon.
The lunch will be held on June 19 at the New York Athletic Club, located at 180 Central Park South here. A cocktail reception will begin at 11:45 a.m. with lunch to follow at 12:30 p.m.
Zimmer, chairman and chief executive officer of Men’s Wearhouse, is the specialty store honoree for the year, while Fitzpatrick, executive vice president and general merchandise manager of Macy’s West, is the general retail winner.
Bud and Barbara Blank are the principals of neckwear manufacturer J.S. Blank & Co.
