by Stephen Garner

American-made menswear company Mizzen+Main has announced the addition of Thomas Morstead, punter for the New Orleans’ Saints, to its “Step Up Your Game” campaign, a series of video interviews with America’s favorite elite professional athletes. Morstead follows world-ranked tennis player John Isner and professional baseball player and Cy Young Award Winner Jake Arrieta in the series.

In the video, Morstead reflects on winning the Super Bowl during his rookie year, as well as Super Bowl XLIV and ‘going all in’ during the St. Patrick’s Day parade by wearing a kilt while marching. Morstead goes on to admit that Mizzen+Main is the only dress shirt brand he owns, and attributes his newfound taste in fashion to his wife Lauren.

In other Mizzen+Main news, the brand’s CEO Kevin Lavelle was announced as an industry award recipient of EY’s Entrepreneur of the Year awards in the Southwest- in the Emerging Consumer Products category. Lavelle was honored as part of a group of leading entrepreneurs selected by an independent judging panel made up of previous award recipients, leading CEOs and other regional business leaders. The award recipients were recognized at a black-tie gala on June 25 at the Hilton Anatole in Dallas, Texas.
