MONDAINE TO RELEASE EVO2 AUTOMATIC COLLECTION

by Brian Lipton

Swiss watch brand Mondaine has launched its new Evo2 Automatic Collection. These new timepieces, for both men and women, are an extension of the brand’s already popular Automatic line, which launched in 1986. They will retail for $665 to $720.

The new evo2 SBB Automatic watch has been softened with rounder curves that reach around the stainless steel case, folding into the transparent case back for uninterrupted comfort. The case lugs have been slightly refined and the crown has been skillfully modified to increase its functionality, resulting in an overall more balanced and evolved look.

The watches, which are available in 35mm and 40mm sizes, come with a Sellita SW 200-2 movement. They feature a traditional white dial with black hour and minute markers. Straps are available are mesh or in black and red leather.
