MOVERS: STEPHEN KEMPSON NAMED CREATIVE DIRECTOR OF MARC ALLEN CLOTHING LINE
Marc Allen Fine Clothiers, with locations in Providence, Newport, Boston and Manhattan, has appointed Stephen Kempson as creative director of the Marc Allen branded clothing line.
“Stephen and I have known each other for more than a decade, and have always wanted to work together in some capacity,” said Marc Streisand, owner of Marc Allen Fine Clothiers, in a statement. “As we renew our focus on our Marc Allen branded line of clothing, it’s finally the right time to bring Stephen on board to help develop and grow the line to its potential.”
As an expert bespoke clothier whose experience spans more than 20 years, Kempson has outfitted leaders in business, entertainment and the media and draws a diverse clientele due to his ability to understand the individual tastes and needs of his clients.
Prior to joining Marc Allen, Kempson was the founder and director of the luxury brand that he founded in 2001, Stephen Kempson London. Based in New York and Connecticut, Kempson served clients throughout the United States and has been featured in The Financial Times, The Robb Report, Departures magazine and other leading publications.
