MR PORTER’S ‘MR. P’ BRAND LAUNCHES EVENINGWEAR

Mr Porter’s private label brand Mr P. has launched its first-ever eveningwear collection.

The online menswear retailer launches this category with its first tuxedo – a slim-fit shawl collar jacket with drawstring grosgrain-striped trousers – into the seasonal collection.

Made from luxury Italian wool and trimmed with matte silk-blend grosgrain, the tuxedo has a contemporary aesthetic and a sportier take on typical evening styles. The trouser is a discrete, formal track pant and features a hidden “phone pocket” detail, ensuring a sleek and functional look.

To complete the ensemble, the latest Mr P. collection includes a white tuxedo shirt with bib contrast and an ecru slim-fit merino wool rollneck sweater. The retailer also offers a reversible black and navy knitted silk and cotton blend tie, which can be teamed with the tuxedo shirt. The new tuxedo jacket retails for $540 while the trousers retail for $280.

Mr P.’s 11th seasonal collection features this introduction into eveningwear, alongside 39 cold-weather ready-to-wear and footwear pieces.
