Nautica has teamed up with Footaction to exclusively release the official Nautica Competition capsule collection, a 90’s sportswear label influenced by competitive sailing with bold color blocking, big logos and reflective trims, known for fusing streetwear and activewear elements. Nautica will make its Footaction debut this spring with an assortment of apparel, footwear, and accessories.

Tapping into the brand’s design veteran, Steve McSween, the partners reveal an assortment of nostalgic high and low top sneakers, slides, graphic tees, color block sweat pants, knit shorts, nylon bomber jackets, and a clear waist pack. The capsule includes retro pieces influenced by Nautica’s traditional silhouettes and design aesthetic.

The assortment will also include boy’s apparel, footwear and bags produced in timeless silhouettes, matching back to the men’s collection to create the perfect “mini me” looks.

“I’m excited for the launch of this exclusive Nautica Competition collection for Footaction!”, said Steve McSween, vice president of global design at Nautica. “This unique capsule celebrates the spirit of nautical sport using archival details from our heritage product.  Our focus was to deliver a collection of pieces that was true to our nautical DNA but created a sense of streetwear urgency for Footaction’s trend-setting consumer. “

“Nautica Competition’s blend of heritage fashion and modern trends is a natural fit for our style-savvy shoppers at Footaction,” added Richard McLeod, vice president of marketing for Footaction. “Together, we are bringing the brand to a broader consumer base at Footaction stores in key cities nationwide, with select items available online at footaction.com.”

The collection brings the essence and spirit, inherent to Nautica’s DNA, to a new generation at 150 Footaction stores and on Footaction.com; with prices ranging from $25 to $80.
