NIGEL CABOURN RELEASES SECOND WATCH COLLABORATION WITH TIMEX

Nigel Cabourn looks back to his 1950s boyhood and love of football for his second collaboration with Timex. During this golden era of football, famous players of the era were all heroes of the young Cabourn growing up in Scunthorpe, England.

Paying homage to those who inspired him, Cabourn drew inspiration from referee watches used at the time to create this new ‘50s inspired referee stopwatch. A key design feature is the ¾ red color blocking of the watch dial to signify 45 minutes: half of a match playing time.

Like the previous Timex collaboration piece, this watch includes two interchangeable straps: a slip-thru fabric strap featuring the recognizable football colors of ‘claret and blue’ and the other a classic black leather. The watch is presented in a branded vintage style cotton drill case.
