Northern Grade launches Gilt sale, San Francisco event

Traveling made-in-America menswear pop-up event Northern Grade launched an online sale with Gilt Groupe today as it prepares for its San Francisco event tomorrow.

The Gilt sale, which lasts through Sunday, features a selection of products (shown above) from Northern Grade’s San Francisco pop-up, including Black Sheep Postal Service, Jack Robie, Alial Fital, Leather Works Minnesota, Sanborn Canoe Co, Stormy Kromer, Todd Shelton, Field Notes and Locally Grown Clothing Co. and Pierrepont Hicks. Two brands—Sanborn Canoe Co. and Todd Shelton—feature products exclusive to the Gilt sale.

Northern Grade San FranciscoThe San Francisco Northern Grade pop-up event runs Saturday, June 1 at 11am to 7pm at 111 Minna Gallery. The pop-up has at least 25 brands showing, including some local San Francisco exhibitors like Tellason Denim, Triple Aught Design, custom clothier Al’s Attire and mobile pizzeria Del Popolo.

Northern Grade started in Minneapolis three years ago, co-founded by Katherine McMillan and her husband Mac, the owners of the Pierrepont Hicks neckwear brand.

Northern Grade has plans to launch pop-up events in Richmond, Va. and New York City later this year and an e-commerce shop in the fall. Northern Grade will be in Chicago October 19-20 and Minneapolis November 10. The Los Angeles event was in April.
