In honor of its 70th anniversary this year, Onitsuka Tiger has launched a special collaboration with seven celebrated designers from Japan and abroad. The first phase of this project is a collaboration with “CINOH” designer Takayuki Chino.

The shoes for this new collaboration are based on the OK BASKETBALL LO, which rearranged the brand’s early basketball model in a low-cut form. The colors feature a clean white theme, and the materials are a hybrid design combining uniform colors of enamel leather and canvas. Different colors have been used for the left and right shoelaces and outer soles, expressing the tri-color design.

The jacket and pants, which can be worn as suits, feature deep navy along with tri-color lines for an effortless and sporty feel. The jackets come in men’s single and women’s double and satisfy a minimalist style.

“The design is nobleness, yet also has a chic ambiance,” says Chino. “To this, I’ve added ease of movement, along with a combination of the Onitsuka Tiger standard colors of tri-color and the distinctive ‘CINOH’ signature colors of white and navy to give this collaboration a distinctive look.”
