Overland Sheepskin Co. is proud to announce the opening of its newest retail store in Truckee, CA. The store expands Overland’s footprint in California as the second location in the region. The store is located at 10072 Donner Pass Rd, in the town’s main shopping district and easily accessible to numerous nearby restaurants and hotels, as well as the many outdoor activities that draw locals and tourists to Truckee.

“Nestled among the Sierra Nevadas, the town of Truckee has always spoken to the adventurous spirit of Overland,” said Overland co-owner Roger Leahy. “We are excited to be back in this vibrant mountain town.”

Founded in 1973 in Taos, NM, Overland remains a family-run organization committed to offering expertly crafted apparel, accessories, and home items in premium natural fibers, such as sheepskin, leather, and wool. The brand offers a wide range of coats in sheepskin and leather, sheepskin slippers, boots, and accessories for both men and women, as well as a large selection of home decor. Popular items in the assortment include the iconic B-3 Bomber Jacket in sheepskin for men, the Dakota Hooded Toscana sheepskin coat for women, shearling-lined winter boots including the Calib, Maine, and Husdon, and the brand’s sought-after sheepskin rugs that come in multiple sizes, from one-pelt to 8’ x 11.5’.
