Pantone Launches Swimwear Summer Pop-up Shop
This summer, the Saint-Tropez stylish set can add a splash of Pantone color to their beach scene swimwear as the company expands to the land of boats, beaches and boules (that’s French for bocce ball).
Pantone, best known for its Color of the Year and its Pantone Matching System (PMS), a proprietary color space used in a variety of industries including printing, paint, plastics and fabric, has previously made a number of entries into menswear through collaborations and runway trend analysis.
The store, the first of its kind and designed by notable interior architects Humbert & Povet, was inspired by a Rubik’s Cube. It houses Pantone Beachwear, a collection of four styles of men’s trunks in 25 vibrant Pantone hues designed and produced under license by Fashion Factory.
