PATTA INTRODUCES A MODERN TAKE ON A DANNER CLASSIC

by John Russel Jones

Dutch streetwear brand Patta and outdoor footwear brand Danner have joined forces to bring a fresh perspective to the iconic Danner Light Boots. The collaboration combines Patta’s contemporary eye and Danner’s craftsmanship.

The Danner Light was originally introduced in 1979 and has been a pioneer when it comes to 100% waterproof and breathable GORE-TEX boots. In collaboration with Patta, the Danner Light has been elevated to feature a suede upper, a Danner embossed logo on the tongue, and 3M printed Cordura panels. Each pair is made in the USA and boasts Patta-branded burgundy and forest green panels.

At Patta, we deeply appreciate the artistry that goes into crafting enduring quality. Danner’s commitment to superior craftsmanship has been a tradition carried forward with each pair of boots they build. The collaboration harmonizes two worlds — the spirit of Danner’s heritage and Patta’s authentic style, with a nod to the early 2000s hip-hop aesthetic, resulting in a reimagined Patta Danner Light.

Putting on a pair of Danner boots isn’t just about wearing shoes; it’s preparing for an adventure. Constructed for those who answer the call of exploration, these boots celebrate resilience and salute those who script their narrative.
The Danner Patta Light is available now at both brands’ websites and retail is $450.
