PERRY ELLIS RELEASES SPRING ‘AMERICA’ COLLECTION

The Perry Ellis America collection continues to update and reinterpret the nineties look for a new modern decade for its new spring 2020 collection, mixing elements from iconic nineties pieces with those from the Perry Ellis mainline. The result is a collection that is a mix of both worlds yielding an entirely new interpretation.

This particular collection is built on the colors red, white, and blue, but amp up the hues and playing with graphic applications. Here, one finds splashes of red-orange, bright blue, fresh white, and highlighter yellow.

Bold awning stripes from the mainline are incorporated on pieces such as the track jacket and rugby polo; the classic popover is made new with color blocking using the saturated colors from the collection. The assortment continues to incorporate the now-recognizable America logos, splashing them across track pants and hoodies and mashing them up in sweatshirts and t-shirts.

Additional highlight pieces include a revamp of the quarter zip windbreaker as a fleece, fleece shorts inspired by basketball shorts, and a sweatshirt inspired by a vintage outerwear piece.
